Hyporderm

Hyporderm is a sterile and self-adhesive hydrocolloid advanced dressing to be placed directly onto the wound without any additional fixation device. The dressing is composed by an hydrocolloid layer covered with a thin superficial film. The film, acting as a semi-permeable barrier, optimizes the breathability, protects the wound from water and contamination. The hydrocolloid is an absorbing and permeable matrix able to transform exudates into a gel: during application, it conforms to all wound area carrying out a mechanical protection and creating the best moist environment for both granulation and epithelialisation phases. No residuals remain after removal.

Indications: the device is indicated for treatment of non infected - chronic or acute – low to moderate exuding wounds. Instruction for use: clean, disinfect and treat the wound according to the local protocol; apply the dressing by removing the protective liners and pressing the adhesive part to undamaged skin. Replace every 3 – 4 days depending on the exuding level and the clinical evidence.
