Privacy Notice under Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016
Introduction:
In accordance with Article 13 of the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“Regulation” or “GDPR”), Legislative Decree 30/06/2003 no. 196 (“Privacy Code”), as amended and supplemented by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and subsequent amendments and integrations, Plastod S.p.A, located in Calderara di Reno, Bologna, via W. Masetti no. 7, acting as the “data controller,” is required to provide the following information regarding the use of personal data. This notice also draws inspiration from Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group established by Article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001, to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, particularly the methods, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.
Purpose of EU Regulation 679/2016:
The Regulation aims to ensure that the processing of personal data respects the fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the dignity of the data subject, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity, and the right to the protection of personal data. The Regulation aims to safeguard the data of the data subject from improper processing by the “data controller” and, in particular, from disclosure to third parties without the prior consent of the data subject.

Among the personal data collected by this application, either independently or through third parties, include: Company, First and Last Name, Email, City, Country, Phone Number, Cookies, and Usage Data. Other personal data collected may be indicated in other sections of this privacy policy or through informational texts displayed simultaneously with the collection of such data. Personal data may be entered voluntarily by the user or collected automatically during the use of this application. The possible use of cookies – or other tracking tools – by this application or by the third-party service providers used by this application, unless otherwise specified, is for the purpose of identifying the user and recording their preferences strictly for the purposes related to the provision of the service requested by the user. Failure by the user to provide certain personal data may prevent this application from providing its services. The user takes responsibility for the personal data of third parties published or shared through this application and guarantees that they have the right to communicate or disseminate them, releasing the data controller from any liability to third parties.

Data Processing Methods:
The data controller processes users’ personal data by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of personal data. The processing is carried out using computerized and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and logics strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the data controller, in some cases, certain categories of persons involved in the organization (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (such as technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) may have access to the data, also appointed, if necessary, as data processors by the data controller. An updated list of data processors can always be requested from the data controller.

The data is processed for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the user or as required by the purposes outlined in this document, and the user can always request the interruption of the processing or the deletion of the data.
Purposes of Processing Collected Data:
The user’s data is collected to allow the data controller to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: contacting the user, registration and authentication, interaction with social networks and external platforms, displaying content from external platforms, and statistics. The types of personal data used for each purpose are indicated in specific sections of this document.

By filling in the contact forms with their data, the user consents to their use to respond to the information requests contained therein.

Exercise of Users’ Rights:
Individuals to whom the personal data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data from the data controller, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy, request its integration, deletion, updating, rectification, transformation into anonymous form, or block the personal data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their processing for legitimate reasons. Requests should be addressed to the data controller. This application does not support “Do Not Track” requests. To determine if any third-party services used support them, please refer to their privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy:
The data controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by publicizing them to users on this page. Therefore, please check this page frequently, referring to the last modification date indicated at the bottom. In the event of non-acceptance of the changes made to this policy, the user is required to cease using this application and may request the data controller to remove their personal data. Unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to the personal data collected up to that moment.
